“Megan is incredibly passionate and GENUINELY listens-I’d know, I’ve been seeing ??mental health professionals for decades & honestly, it took me over a year to finally go to the office. I originally started with a different doctor; due to him being out, I was asked if I would feel “comfortable” meeting with another individual. ?? I am not comfortable at all with change especially last Minute but regardless, I went. This is when I met Megan. After which- I immediately requested to have her as my permanent counselor AND recommended a family member struggling with various mental disorders. Megan has a naturally soothing and empathetic sense to her character, which I picked up on right away. I strongly believe that is why she is so effective at building a SAFE & COMFORTABLE environment-one I have NEVER experienced prior to this experience never did I ever think I’d be the type of person who honestly looks forward to their monthly check-ins?? Indubitably and undoubtedly 2 thumbs ”

Getting to know Megan Dingus

I assist individuals who are struggling to balance their lives due to symptoms such as depression, anxiety, or sleep issues. My approach to helping clients is personalized, comprehensive, and holistic, meaning I work with them to get their lives on track according to their needs and goals. My practice includes medication management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I hold a Master's in Family Nursing from Simmons University and a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, which equip me to provide expert, compassionate care tailored to each individual.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My goal for the first appointment is to hear your story and to build that essential rapport for a healthy, positive, and supportive client-provider relationship. As it is important for you to feel comfortable, heard and in control during the appointment, you can set the pace and depth of the conversation. By the end of the appointment, my clients typically feel relieved and optimistic about the future with a mutually decided upon plan of action.
