What should a new client know about working with you?

With the unique needs of each individual, I use a variety of therapeutic interventions and approaches. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment Theory. I work collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are and helping them move toward their goals. I take a warm, empathetic, and person-centered approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are and supporting them in reaching their goals. Using strengths-based and trauma-informed techniques, I help individuals build coping skills, overcome challenges, and work toward a more fulfilling life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe therapy should be a safe, compassionate and collaborative space where people can process their experiences, build coping skills, and move toward healing. In our first few sessions you can expect therapy to be a space where we work together to better understand what you’re experiencing and what you’d like to change or improve in your life. Throughout the therapeutic process, you’ll have a safe space to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and challenges without judgment. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build insight, and develop coping skills that can help you navigate difficulties more effectively. Over time, the goal is to help you feel more confident in managing challenges, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
