“I was very much impressed with my first appointment with DermDoc, Wyomissing. I arrived in the office about 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. The receptionist was very nice and greeted me in a very friendly manner. After checking my ID and my insurance cards, she asked me to have a seat in the waiting area. Four other patients were seated in the waiting area. Within one to two minutes after my scheduled appointment I was escorted to an exam room. A staff member confirmed historic medical information I had entered into the office computer system the evening before. Megan, the CRNP with whom I had my appointment, entered the exam room about two minutes later. She was very friendly, very professional and put me at ease. I explained my problem and she examined the area of concern on my chest. She explained that she believed the small growth should be removed and sent for biopsy. I fully agreed with her plan of treatment. ”

About Megan Horvath
Megan graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2016 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Megan completed two years of nursing at the bedside at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit prior to returning The Pennsylvania State University for graduate school. While continuing to work full-time in the NICU as a Registered Nurse, Megan completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Penn State and graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2020. Megan is an AANP board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for Dermatology.

Megan was great, very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. My only negative was I wasn't given a written summary of her assessment and treatment for my records and my physician's medical records. Am waiting for that.

The exam was thorough and Meghan explained everything she was looking for/ found a she went in a clear and unhurried manner. She explained two treatment options and performed the chosen treatment carefully and efficiently. Her assistant recorded everything as the session proceeded and then reviewed all. Definitely appreciated the care; no hesitation to continue with this group.
