What should a new client know about working with you?

PLEASE NOTE, I’M IN-NETWORK WITH AETNA, MEDICARE, OSCAR, OXFORD, AND UNITED HEALTHCARE. I DO NOT ACCEPT MEDICAID. My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make informed decisions about their treatment. My practice is inclusive and welcoming, embracing diversity in culture, background, and experience. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. My journey to becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner began while working as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Many of the patients I cared for were struggling with mental health concerns, and I quickly realized how closely mental and physical health are connected. While I was treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders in primary care, I wanted to gain more specialized knowledge and training to ensure I was providing the highest quality care possible. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process, I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

If you use your insurance with us, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has.
