About Megan Thoms
Megan Thoms, PA-C, specializes in primary care and is dedicated to being a compassionate listener to foster strong relationships with her patients. She is passionate about preventive healthcare and utilizes her special interest in nutrition and how it relates to gut health and overall health of the body. She has training in hormone health for women experiencing peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms. She enjoys continuing medical education to stay up to date with managing her patients acute/urgent care needs as well as chronic health concerns.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She went on to earn her Physician Assistant Certification from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver and earned a masters degree from the University of Texas, Rio Grand Valley. She has completed coursework in holistic nutrition from Hawthorn University.
Megan enjoys all things outdoors. Skiing, hiking, running, paddle boarding and gardening to name a few. Yoga is a must-have for balance in her life! She also loves traveling and having an adventure with her family and friends.

I was so impressed with my first visit, from the medical assistant to the Nurse Practitioner to the phlebotomist who stayed late to draw my blood because I am a hard draw. This is what health care should look like: efficient, knowledgeable, and caring.

I can’t stress enough how thankful I am that all the staff I met with were so kind and patient. I haven’t been able to go to a hospital in 3 years after watching my sister pass in one unfortunately, so it was nerve racking to go back. But the receptionist, Desire, Connie, and Megan were all incredibly nice. They were so informative and answered all my questions. I didn’t have to wait long and were able to do everything I needed in one day. The whole process was a breeze and I’m excited to continue with this team!

The doc is great but she rushes through the appointments so I am unable to ask questions, talk about some health concerns. She always talks to me about diet and exercise but hasn’t left room in the conversation for me to speak up about the fact that I already do both those things and have since lost weight since my last appointment. She’s great and friendly but I can’t help but feel that I’m being judged by my looks and not by the proof of my lifestyle.
