About Dr. Megha Kothari

Megha Kothari, MD, is a hepatologist and gastroenterologist and an assistant director of hepatology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She is also the director of women's health at the hospital. Dr. Kothari treats patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including celiac disease, motility disorders, GERD, and irritable bowel syndrome. She also sees patients for constipation, abdominal pain, swallowing disorders, and hemorrhoids. Additionally, she treats patients with colon cancer, hepatitis B and C, and liver disease. The worst doctor i been to recently was a gastrointestinal doctor a few years ago. I was extremely upset and frustrated. I walked out and never went back. I was so happy that Doctor Kothari was the complete opposite. First of all, the office is so nice clean and modern it feels like you are in a spaceship. It was nice to see such a clean and modern office in NYC. Dr. Kothari listened and got me tested for everything I hoped she would. It was great and I left there feeling we can finally get answers and not just leave with a script for medication.
