About Dr. Megha Singh
Dr. Megha Singh earned her undergraduate degree in neuroscience and international development at Tulane University in New Orleans and her medical degree at Medical University of the Americas in Charlestown, Nevis, West Indies. She completed her family medicine residency in Louisiana at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport.
Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Singh treats patients of all ages and has extensive training in diverse areas including geriatrics, in-office procedures, pediatrics, sports medicine, and women’s reproductive health. Dr. Singh also speaks Hindi and Punjabi and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
She treats the full spectrum of primary care, from acute conditions like flu to chronic concerns, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and high cholesterol. She is especially interested in women’s health and preventative medicine and stresses the importance of screening methods that can prevent the development of chronic conditions.
