“Meghan is the BEST! She is so smart, which helps me look at situations in a different way and with a different mindset/meaning. She is also so warm and makes me feel so seen and understood. I always feel more confident and empowered when we end our sessions. I often find myself thinking about things she had said and things we have talked about for weeks after our meetings end. She has already helped me so much after only a few months!”

Getting to know Meghan DiMaggio

Are you looking for a prescriber who truly hears and sees YOU? I believe every client and their needs are unique, and I offer a holistic approach with your wellness goals always at the center of treatment. We will collaborate and create a treatment plan that fits you and your lifestyle, through medication, therapy, or a combination of both. I have over a decade of experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am DBT-trained and have worked with clients on all care levels. I hold a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from City University of New York, Hunter College. I believe everyone is doing the best they can, and with the right support, everyone can be doing better. Treatment should be a partnership, and it would be an honor to accompany you on your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our initial sessions will be spent learning your story, identifying existing strengths, and exploring what's not working. We will establish treatment goals and priorities, and will create a roadmap of how to get there. Medication management sessions will be focused on ensuring your medications are the right fit for you, and are improving your overall quality of life. Sessions also may include supportive and/or CBT or DBT-informed psychotherapy based on your needs. My goal is for you to leave every session feeling truly seen and heard, with your needs effectively responded to.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I never thought i’d find a good fit for myself. therapy again but Dr. DiMaggio has been one of the best things to happen in my mental health journey. She’s never afraid to tell me what I need to hear but also knows how to say it in a way that i’ll understand or actually take in. She’s amazing.
Meghan is amazing! I couldn’t rave about her enough. I always feel so good after leaving our sessions. She has helped me so much in a difficult time I was going though and still continues to help me so much every time we meet. She is the best!
I am so grateful for our continued weekly work, I’ve truly grown so much as a person. This has been the most complex and taxing season of my life and through that Meghan has provided so much comfort and validation. I’ve really appreciated the support.
She makes me feel very comfortable and safe. Speaking to her has helped me with my depression and self confidence which I thought was slightly impossible.
It took me a while to find the right provider for me and Meghan is PERFECT. She’s so amazingly comforting and kind in a way I have never felt or experienced before.
