About Meghan Eisenhardt
Meghan Eisenhardt is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) originally from Greensboro, North Carolina. She initially pursued studies in Communications, with a specific focus on media design. Her career trajectory shifted following the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, she was working as a nanny and in a daycare, where she had the opportunity to observe virtual speech therapy sessions. This experience motivated her to return to school for a career change, leading her to receive her Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University.
Meghan completed her clinical fellowship with a private practice. This fellowship allowed her to gain experience providing services in various settings: in the clinic, within natural environments, and via telehealth. The majority of her experience is with children starting at age 2. She works with a wide spectrum of diagnoses and utilizes several approaches. These areas of focus include alternative and augmentive communication, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), fluency disorder, language delays/disorders, articulation, apraxia, and gestalt language processors. Meghan enjoys working with all age groups and loves to incorporate play-based practices for clients ranging from preschool age all the way up to teenagers.
In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs (and sharing stories about them). She also collects craft hobbies, spends time with friends and family, reads, and visits local markets.
