What should a new client know about working with you?
I am down to earth and enjoy getting to know my clients. With me, you can expect to be treated with respect and dignity, and take part in decision-making for your mental health needs. I am available for both virtual and in-person appointments and can be flexible to meet the needs of both.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Clients are scheduled for a 1 hour intake at the initial visit. During this time, we a thorough evaluation of your past and current medical and mental health are assessed. Often times, suggestions for tx will be made following this visit, which can include referrals for therapy, further testing, supplementation, and or medication. Follow up visits are typically scheduled before the end of each session to ensure proper follow up care is achieved. My office staff is open for contact between visits, and I am available to be contacted directly as well through the patient portal.
