“She is very warm and so easy to talk to. I could tell she really cared about me as a person rather than just as a patient. I had an urgent question about a medication on a weekend and even then, she made time for me. She is an amazing person and more people like her should work in this field.”

Her treatment plans encompass a variety of modalities with a special focus on interdependent psycho-social and lifestyle choices such as diet, exercise, and sleep habits to achieve optimal and sustainable outcomes. When medication is warranted, she utilizes an evidence-based approach to prescribe the minimum effective dose with the most favorable side effect profile to help patients achieve the best quality of life. She has a special interest in empowering clients with the knowledge and tools needed to optimize their overall health and has additional training in Lifestyle Medicine. What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer a complimentary 10-minute phone consultation prior to your initial appointment. This call allows you to make sure that you feel I will be the right fit for you and simultaneously allows me to ensure that my area of clinical expertise will meet your needs prior to proceeding with an appointment. I would also be happy to answer any questions you might have during this initial phone call. If there is a specific time that you would prefer me to call for you, please indicate that time in your notes while scheduling your appointment and I will make a genuine effort to call you at that time. During your initial appointment, we will explore both your concerns and treatment goals. This will allow me to devise a comprehensive treatment plan that might involve recommending medication, a lab work up, therapy, group work, specific lifestyle changes, and referrals to other medical providers. We will meet periodically to assess your progress and revise your treatment plan as needed until you have met your goals.

I was lucky to find Meghan. She actually takes the time to listen to you during your appointments and makes honest and helpful recommendations. The first medication she gave me changed my life. When I started seeing her, I was not in a good place and I truly feel like I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for her.
Meghan was extremely professional yet empathetic. I felt comfortable talking to her without fear of judgment. She really helped me understand myself better and reasons why I felt the way I did. I look forward to my next appointment with Meghan.
