She was very friendly yet professional on the phone. Stephanie made me feel that, should any administrative issues arise, she would resolve them promptly. Then I had my video appointment with Dr. Alcala. I was very nervous for a variety of reasons, but she immediately set me at ease. Even in a telehealth visit, she has an excellent bedside manner. She is a very kind and empathetic listener and she treated me with a tremendous amount of compassion. She was very thorough in her assessment and I appreciated her discussion of how and why different medications work. I would recommend her unreservedly to anyone seeking treatment for mental health issues. ”

Meghann is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and received her doctoral degree from Rutgers University. During her training, Meghann completed research on assisting individuals in better adhering with prescribed medications by utilizing a cellular phone application. She also has extensive nursing experience working in acute inpatient psychiatric settings and has clinical experience centering on partial care programs. Meghann's goal is to assist individuals to achieve the highest quality of life by utilizing their strengths in an environment of warmth, patience, understanding, and trust.

Dr. Alcala was a pleasure to meet. She was a great listener, asked good, pointed questions, was sensitive in her approach, and was very much present. The emails sent from the office prior to my visit were very informative and helpful reminders. I spoke to S. twice before my appointment and she was very helpful and supportive in answering my questions about protocol and technology.
