About Meibol Mas San Juan
Meibol began her career in medicine at the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Granma Medical School in Manzanillo, Cuba, where she graduated as an MD in 1996. She spent 12 years practicing general, gynecologic, and emergency medicine at the Hospital General Municipal Gustavo Aldereguía and community clinics.
In 2008, Meibol relocated to South Florida with her family. She earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Miami Regional University and now practices as an APRN focusing on women’s health.

I went to see this doctor and I’m guessing she never actually submitted my Pap smear because my new doctors office can’t find record of it from a lab anywhere. They most definitely charged my insurance for the visit and no results can be found 2 months later!

Very sad to write this review but having seen many doctors and working in the healthcare field myself I have never experienced the service I received here. While the front desk and clinician (Meribol) were very nice, we ran many blood test, to which I was told I would receive a phone call about to discuss when results came in.
It has been nearly a month and Meribol Mas San Juan will not respond to my calls or messages on their portal. It took 4 people to get my blood and and I was there 1.5 hrs. When I've reached out I was told I have to book another appointment to discuss lab results because the do not provide 'telehealth'. Another appointment, more spend. Calling re: results is not telehealth. Its normal practice. Why tell me you would call and then try to force another appointment.
Also, I ask clinicians to not push the 'have a baby soon, why havent you' on someone 40 who is childless. I want kids, it hasnt happened for me and this is a little hard to hear over and over.

The doctor is very good.
But in general when I have the anual appointment with the doctors, never ask me about my health in that year, is different appointment if I have one symptom or something unusual in that time. I assume every doctor can be verified my health…. But only the test or something simple and that’s all. How impersonal I feel my anual appointments. Very disappointed.

My first visit was supposed to be with a different doctor after waiting well over an hour I finally got called back as I was asking what the time was going to be like I was told they were waiting on a room to open up (meaning it was still going to be a good bit of time) in the background I heard another patient rescheduling their appointment after waiting over three hours. I was recommended to a different Obgyn and I’m grateful for that nurse who referred Dr. Natasha Alexandria. My second visit (1st time being seen) was about an hour in, out and thorough. Dr.Alexandria was attentive and pleasant. She validated my addressed concerns and was concise.
