She was also careful to ensure the medication she was prescribing could be taken with other medications safely. It's only been a week but we are already seeing improvements. Thank you.”

About Melanie Adams
Melanie Adams PA-C, MPAS is a certified Physician Associate with 30 years of clinical experience. Since 2007, she has specialized in Dermatology, where she has developed extensive expertise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Melanie is dedicated to delivering comprehensive patient care and excels in building strong patient trust and rapport.
She began her career after graduating from the University of Kentucky's Physician Assistant program in 1995, initially working in Psychiatry and Family Medicine. In 2002, Melanie relocated to North Carolina, where she later earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska. Her professional journey included four years as an Epilepsy specialist in the Department of Neurology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill before transitioning to Dermatology.
Melanie is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Medical Science degree at High Point University. Outside of her professional commitments, Melanie enjoys traveling, hiking, golfing, skiing, and spending time with her dogs.

Had a great experience getting some moles checked out/removed. Everything was explained clearly and every question was answered. Her and the nurse I had were also so nice! Very quick and painless procedure, I'd definitely see her again if necessary!

Very positive experience with Dr Adams and her assistant. Both were friendly and had fantastic bedside manner. Dr Adams performed a small procedure and asked me if I was okay multiple times throughout to ensure my comfort. Highly recommend.

Office was very clean, easy to find and comfortable. There was bottled water and coffee offered. The receptionist was very nice and I had a short wait before seeing Dr. Adams, who was thorough, kind and helpful. I really enjoyed our conversation and she addressed all my concerns. Overall, I would definitely recommend Dr. Adams and the staff at Brassfield Dermatology.
