Evening and weekend telehealth appointments for adults across Iowa. Many of my clients are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or struggling to keep up with work, relationships, sleep, and daily responsibilities while dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or mood changes. My goal is to help clients better understand what they are experiencing and develop a clear, practical treatment plan. Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I worked for many years as a certified veterinary technician, and I value building genuine, down-to-earth connections with the people I work with.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical. I help clients better understand their symptoms, treatment options, and personal goals while creating a plan that feels realistic and manageable. In addition to medication management, I often incorporate supportive and skills-based therapeutic interventions into visits when appropriate.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Seeking psychiatric care can feel overwhelming, and many people are unsure what to expect during the process. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where clients feel heard, respected, and involved in treatment decisions. Initial evaluations are completed over two visits so there is time to fully explore concerns and discuss next steps thoughtfully.
