I have experience treating patients of all ages in a variety of settings. I earned my MSN, FNP from Radford University and my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Case Western Reserve University. I also earned a post-graduate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certificate from Johns Hopkins University. I am certified as both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My therapeutic treatment goals are to provide the highest-quality mental health care possible through a holistic approach. I believe that superior care is developed by having an attitude of caring and empathy while listening to patients during times of need.

Very understanding, listened intently to my teen (she is on the quiet/shy side), and my teen walked away feeling heard - and happy to connect with such a warm, caring, competent provider after having a less than optimal experience with another provider. Thank you, too for being LGBTQ+ friendly and informed. Can't wait until the next visit.

It has been a very pleasant experience with Tandem Telehealth so far!! Especially since the pandemic, I've noticed quality of such services go down, but Tandem Telehealth has been the opposite.
Dr. Parks is a dedicated, mindful, attentive, and caring provider. She listens with respect and her body language shows how well she's engaged in listening (even through telehealth) .
the front end staff person has been great with communication as well; overall, so thankful to have found Tandem Telehealth for my kid! :)

I was switched to her care as my previous provider left this practice. She was very thorough, and realized there was a lot of misinformation in my account from the previous provider. She made me feel seen, heard, and was genuinely interested in the continuity of my care. I've only had one session, but I would highly recommend Dr. Parks to anyone looking for appropriate ADHD and medication management.
