Unfortunately the wait time was extremely long. I was contacted 48 hours prior to the appointment requesting I show up 30 mins before my appointment time which I did and ended up waiting for over an hour to be seen.”

About Melanie Zavala
Melanie Zavala is a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate patient-centered gynecologic and obstetric services. Her expertise includes annual exams, STI evaluations/testing, family planning, preconception, and infertility. Melanie is also a menopause society certified practitioner with experience in up to date perimenopause, menopause, and sexual health treatments.
Melanie places a high priority on preventative care, wellness, and health education. Her goal is to provide quality care in a comfortable setting and to empower women to get healthy and stay healthy, so they can live life to the fullest.
Melanie received both her Bachelor and Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, husband, and daughter as well as traveling and exploring new cities.

It was a pretty smooth appointment. Didn’t have to wait too, too long. It gave me time to calm myself down a bit. Melanie was professional, very nice, and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend Melanie for your women’s care and for sure your (peri) menopausal Care!!
She advised me on my choices for hormone replacement therapy and was very educated on the topic. She Advised me on some other things we could do for my pelvic health as well as get me the Dexa scan my PCP wouldn’t prescribe. Yes - a great experience, highly recommend her and I will recommend her to my clients as well for HRT etc.

I booked this provider because they had 18 available appointments for the day. They rescheduled my appointment to an earlier time slot which was fine. I arrived 15 minutes early per request to complete paperwork. The waiting room was jam packed, people were waiting in their cars. After 75 min I asked the status of my appointment and was told that the 3 providers were sharing rooms causing a back log, I would be seen soon. After a few minutes I heard someone in the back ask if I had been seen to a nurse. Apparently I had been missed, but instead of taking me next they brought another patient back and I was told again I would be called shortly. At the 1.5 hour mark I left. I can not leave a review for the provider, I am sure she is lovely but the office needs some organization.

This was truly the best experience I’ve had at a gyno appointment. Melanie took the time to listen to my questions and concerns, and made me feel comfortable during my visit. As someone in the LGBTQ community, I’ve had many negative experiences at doctors offices, but this was not the case at this appointment. I would highly recommend this practice.

Doctor Melanie Santos was amazing!! I loved every aspect of my visit! The cleanliness of the whole office was immaculate. The staff was superb! They were all friendly and welcoming.
