About Dr. Melissa Casden
Practice Policy Notice
My practice is designed to provide comprehensive, personalized care for women through an evidence-based and integrative approach to hormone health, lifestyle medicine, and wellness.
In order to maintain the specialized focus of my practice and provide care tailored specifically to women’s health concerns, I currently accept women and female clients only.
Initial visit: $500
Follow up visit: $300
Please note that while this practice does not directly bill insurance, HSA and FSA funds may be used for eligible services.
I'm a board-certified Family Medicine physician with fellowship training in Integrative Medicine, specializing in women's hormonal health, perimenopause, and menopause.
My approach combines evidence-based hormone therapy with a root-cause, integrative perspective — looking at the full picture of your hormones, nutrition, stress, sleep, and lifestyle to help you actually feel like yourself again.
I completed my Family Medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, my Integrative Medicine fellowship at the University of Michigan. I have pursued advanced training in hormone replacement therapy with leading experts in the field — including Dr. Heather Hirsch, Dr. Rachel Rubin, and Dr. Amy Killen — covering the full spectrum of menopausal hormone therapy, testosterone optimization and sexual health. I also have training in medical acupuncture.
I see patients in person on Long Island and via telehealth throughout New York.
Outside of clinic, you'll find me surfing or hiking with my two dogs.

Dr. Casden is an exceptional doctor. She was very calm and patient. I never felt rushed. Truly one of the best doctors I have seen. Made me feel worlds better after our appointment and just has a very clear and kind way of delivering information. Could not recommend more!
