“ Dr. Knisley was so kind and reassuring to both my little 1 year old and myself when we needed a last minute visit for a dislocated elbow. The staff was so kind and I loved that there was a Turtle at the front desk to greet us with the receptionist. There were toys to play with in the room while waiting, and after my little one had her elbow fixed, they gave her a popsicle for being so brave. Thank you for helping us and taking such care.”

About Dr. Melissa Knisley

Dr. Knisley’s approach to care is compassionate and individualized, focusing on the unique physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each child. One of her favorite aspects of pediatrics is guiding new parents through the exciting and sometimes surprising experiences of early childhood. She provides family-centered care, fostering open communication and building trust with both parents and children. Dr. Knisley earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. She is certified in integrative medicine through the University of Arizona and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. When she’s not working, Dr. Knisley enjoys outdoor adventures with her family and their two rescue dogs.
