Hi, I’m Melissa Pauline—a triple board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, Acute Care, and Psychiatric-Mental Health. After nearly two decades in healthcare, I’ve come to specialize in something deeply personal: helping high-achieving women feel whole again.
At Nouveaux U Behavioral Health, I work with professionals, entrepreneurs, and caregivers who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, or burnout—often while still showing up for everyone else. My approach blends evidence-based medication management with real talk, lifestyle strategies, and a lot of empathy. Whether you prefer to meet virtually or in our calming Buford, GA office, you’ll be welcomed into a space that prioritizes your peace, your voice, and your pace.
I accept Aetna insurance and offer self-pay options with superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.

Very caring provider. Really took my concerns into consideration and applied them to my treatment plan. Extremely knowledgeable and has a very professional and comforting way of explaining options to you. Ive had many problems with medications not working in the past where the provider wanted to keep trying and trying different things when there were medications I had been on before that I knew worked for me, causing months and months of unnecessary distress while draining my wallet. Would definitely reccomend her 100 times over. Already have my next apptnset up.

Melissa has been such a changing force in my life as it relates to my weight management and confidence. It has been since 2023 shortly after I gave birth and had put on the most weight I ever have.
She coached me to loosing 60 lbs with the help of medical weight loss shots. I initially was skeptical but she answered every question and is so knowledgeable.
I would highly recommend on all levels.
