About Melissa Sabari
Melissa Sabari is a nationally certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She received her bachelor’s in biology from New York University and went on to obtain her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University in New York City.
Melissa completed the Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Program at Schweiger Dermatology Group, where she trained alongside top dermatology providers and gained firsthand experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She takes pride in her patient-centered approach to treatment and is committed to the skin and overall health of her patients. Melissa is fluent in English and Spanish.

Overall, I felt that the provider rushed through the appointment and didn't take my issue seriously. The provider I saw didn't ask more then 3 or 4 questions about my issue, didn't tell me what the cause of my issue was, and didn't want to say what it COULD be without me prompting. Also, she didn't give me any instructions or potential side effects for the medication she prescribed without me asking. Finally, she said I should make a follow up appointment, but left without telling me when that should happen.

Quick, efficient, and friendly. I think I was there a total of 20-25 minutes tops. Melissa clearly read my chart beforehand and saw that I had a cyst removed at a prior appointment last year. We talked about any concerns. Very short wait time in the waiting room and in the exam room as well. I went for an annual skin check. Very professional and courteous and I was on my way before I knew it!

It has become rare since 2020 to receive what you ask for or schedule. Since COVID-19 delays and higher prices have become the new normal; however, with one exception Schweiger Dermatology! The company culture is very comforting and pleasant with one exception one of the women working at the desk. Other than that one person the staff is excellent in every way. The one person is less friendly and more stern, nevertheless still professional and efficient. Overall the office is stellar!

Going for the same problem and she didn’t listen when I said freeze doesn’t work it’s been tried. Let’s freeze come back in a month and we will see freeze bye and off to the races

The office itself was very clean, and the wait wasn’t long. The staff member at the front desk that checked me in was very friendly. Unfortunately, I wasn’t pleased with the experience I had with the doctor. She walked into the room without knocking and didn't introduce herself. She looked bothered, she examined me quickly then used something on me without much explanation. She rushed through the appointment. It was my first experience in this office, and I was so disappointed. I felt like a number and treated as if I was inconveniencing her day.

The experience was great. Got to my appointment early and was able to check in. I paid my copay and was given a copy of my receipt. I was called in quickly. Melissa was great, asked questions, and listened to my concerns. She put a treatment on my scalp and suggested Nutrafol. I booked my follow appointment before leaving.
