About Melissa Wheeler

This provider's Primary Supervising Physician is William Steffes. Melissa is a Florida native who earned her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida. Having personally experienced a skin cancer diagnosis and treatment when she was nineteen, Melissa knew that she could bring a personal perspective to the care of patients facing skin cancer. She advocates for the education of sun safety and skin cancer prevention. Melissa has advanced expertise using BOTOX Cosmetic, Dysport , Juvéderm , and Restylane to help manage various skin conditions. She also utilizes cosmetic laser services for skin rejuvenation and enhancement. After practicing dermatology in Florida, Melissa moved to California to further her medical and cosmetic expertise. She is now returning to Central Florida to provide exceptional dermatologic care to patients experiencing a variety of issues such as skin cancer, rashes, acne, psoriasis, eczema, or even aging skin concerns. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys traveling, cooking, reading novels, and being involved in her children's school.

What a great experience! I booked ?this appointment never having been to a dermatologist before looking to remove some skin tags and get an overall assessment of my skin. I was able to get everything done in the same appointment not to mention in about 20-30 minutes. Melissa was fantastic and explained everything very well to me. I would definitely come back here!
