About Dr. Meltem Ates
Dr. Meltem Ates graduated summa cum laude from St. Francis College in Brooklyn. Upon graduation, she attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a four-year surgical residency training at New York Presbyterian/ Queens where she was comprehensively trained in reconstructive and elective surgery of the foot and ankle. She completed multiple educational courses focusing on both internal fixation as well as arthroscopic surgery. She is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and board certified by American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is a compassionate physician who always takes the patient’s goals and lifestyle into account prior to establishing a treatment plan.

I was listened to and helped so easily and quickly. Had X-rays and casting for insoles done within 45 minutes. One of the smoothest appointments I’ve ever been to. Sometimes we get nervous to book an appointment and assume it will take too much to get better; this appointment made all my worries go away.

The staff was very friendly and professional . The doctor walk me through the complete process and did not leave me guessing what would happen next. Was at office for in grown nail, that was deep in skin and doctor took her time to make sure I was comfortable. Hope never have this issue again, but if I do will definitely return here. Great job done by all.
