Getting to know Micaela Gordon
Micaela Gordon was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of the West Indies, Mona where she graduated with first-class honors in 2010. Throughout her years in nursing school, she served on various committees and undertook many projects, aimed at promoting community health and wellness. She was also awarded the prestigious Nursing Student of the Year title in 2009. After graduation, Micaela went on to work as a Registered Nurse but her desire to make a greater impact on healthcare led her to pursue post-basic studies in Midwifery. She continued to work in community health, serving an even greater population and gaining immeasurable experience in maternal and child health, chronic disease management, treatment of sexually transmitted infections, and family planning. In 2016, Micaela moved to Houston, Texas with her family. She completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing with Chamberlain University in 2019. Micaela is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is passionate about providing exceptional care to her patients. She is driven by her love for nursing and her love for people. On a personal note, Micaela is married with a son and enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Micaela is an excellent practitioner. She gave me advice I was unaware of that would help me, she listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable with my own medical experiences. I highly highly highly recommend her, she’s one of the most informed nurse practitioners I’ve ever spoken with and was advised by. I will be a forever patient of Micaela. She’s simply incredible and experienced.

Micaela has been a wonderful resource for my entire family! Any time we need a Covid or flu test, she's responded quickly.
Micaela comes to our door to administer the necessary tests. She is kind and efficient during the procedure. She follows up promptly with test results.
I have recommended her to neighbors and will continue to do so. Fast, accurate, and friendly service!

Nurse Micaela has bailed us out so many times when the kids (or the grandfather) needs after house/weekend care. She's kind, patient, punctual and knowledgeable. I have one kid who freaks out when medical stuff needs to happen, and she always helps calm him down. She's an old fashioned doc, bag in hand, who visits your house or welcomes you at her clinic with a smile and up to date medical knowledge. You can't go wrong with her!

I needed to see a medical provider ASAP and my PCP had no availability. Medi-Eagle Express HealthCare was available to evaluate me and provide medical treatment expeditiously. The nurse practitioner was thorough in her evaluation. Her bedside manner was excellent and assured me that she was there to provide care; not just for my physical wellbeing but as a holistic being. Office was easy to find. Inside is comfy, clean and well kept. I was seen promptly. NP Gordon was very thorough and took the time to listen to my complaints and answer all my questions. Overall 10/10.
