Getting to know Dr. Michael Adelman

An in-person visit may be required depending on your treatment needs, such as, but not limited to, certain prescriptions. Your clinician will work with you to determine an appropriate treatment plan. Dr. Michael Adelman was drawn to the mental health field due to the real-world nature of his everyday work. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his residency through the University of Utah School of Medicine Office of Admissions. Dr. Adelman's holistic approach helps patients and families identify resiliency factors to move to a place of greater self-respect and self-efficacy. He is experienced in pediatrics, psychiatry, and child psychiatry. His triple board training helps him understand both normal development in children and various developmental challenges. Dr. Adelman's knowledge allows him to work better with families to find the best ways to help. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and family (six kids!) and is an avid CrossFit aficionado hoping to compete in the masters (i.e., old man) category.
