I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I hold a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Med from Texas Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University. I earned my Master of Science in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. My previous experience includes serving as the director of Behavioral Health and Substance Use Services for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Brownwood, TX. Most recently, I worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Basepoint in Forney, TX. As a PMHNP, I have treated clients of all ages with mental health and substance use disorders.

What should a new client know about working with you?

A friendly and therapeutic environment that is focused on the client. My goal is to work with the client to achieve the most appropriate diagnosis and then plan a treatment that is specific to the diagnosis. Safety is always my number one priority.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
