About Dr. Michael Ammirati
We are a fully accredited facility with New York State through the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities. We have an anesthesiologist present in our facility, as well as all required emergency equipment and medicines.
Dr. Ammirati is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York, Stony Brook School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is licensed in the state of New York. Aside from being a wonderful physician, Dr. Ammirati has also published several articles on Indeterminate Colitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura.
He and his friendly staff are looking forward to meeting all the new patients!

The doctor was very kind but I was supposed to be seen at 230 and they did not get me in until around 4p. I needed to be put under for a procedure and was very stressed about getting to work at 5p on time/being lucid. I was told that I would be completely fine for work when booking my 230p appointment but because of the delay, I ended up only having about 10 minutes to wake up/recover from the operation before I had to run to work. This was a very stressful experience.

Very engaging, listen to your comments ask! Questions . Examine you. Asking about your family history if there ever been any problems with family members with colon cancer. Question you about do you have any pains is there any pain when he examine you in the pressure how's your bowel movement very straightforward questions as easily to be answered and need to be answered.
