“Initial wellness visit after decades with former doctor. Great comprehensive facilities, efficient and friendly staff, and overall great experience. Took time to hear my medical history, and seemed to genuinely want to adapt to my needs instead of just checking off the boxes. Reasonable wait time, and was in and out before I knew it.”

I tried multiple times in advance of my appointment to try and get in touch with the office and confirm the appointment, check my insurance etc. I left messages, etc and no one got back to me.

First time appointment with Doctor Armstrong and Victory Medical (Athena). Doctor was generally kind and informative, but charged me for numerous extras on top of my wellness/office visit. The front desk had informed me that I would either be charged for a wellness visit (fully covered by insurance) or an office visit (some out of pocket charges). Not only was I charged for the office visit, which I paid, but then later I was billed again for "added complexity" codes. Upon trying to get information about the added complexity codes, the billing department told me I would have to contact the office. The office, however, would "not discuss codes with patients." So nobody can tell me what I'm being charged for? How can healthcare providers get away with this kind of dishonesty?

Doctor was very professional and handled me as a first patient with the respect and sensitivity expected while also being real with me about what was actually expected of me for treatments/health plans. I was overall impressed.
Verified patient
Dr. Armstrong was condescending and unwilling to listen. What I said and what he interpreted were two very different things. Disappointed and concerned by the experience.

Michael was great, professional and thorough.
I haven't been to the doctor in a long time. After discovering that I had high blood pressure, I booked an appointment with Dr. Armstrong, who already had such great reviews. I was not disappointed. He listened without judgement, answered all my questions, and had a very calming demeanor. He didn't push any treatments or issue any chastisements. It truly felt like he was on my team. Highly recommended.

The actual office is a little unexpected, aesthetically, it doesn’t look like a typical doctor’s office. But the staff was responsive, kind, my doctor was great, honest, and the lab technicians were kind and efficient.
Dr.Armstrong and his techs were very helpful and thorough. Dr. Armstrong made me feel safe and provided very calm energy despite me being stressed with my current medical concerns. He was able to give me confidence and hope that he could help as best he could and would do his best. Overall, very impressed and definitely will be making the commute again to see him and his team.
