Patient reviews for Dr. Michael Calabrese
True professional, very polite and diplomatic , Great personality and attitude! 5 Stars !
Great service. I feel great
Very kind and warm. Eventhough I was in so much pain, he carefully assessed me and addressed my back issue. I would recommend him!
First visit went above expectations. Dr. Michael was prompt and was able to see me before my scheduled time when I arrived early. Received great tips and first adjustment already brought relief. Looking forward to my next adjustment!
He’s great! Office is nice. Very professional.
He was very welcoming and helpful for me tension headache. Would recommend to friends and family
Great visit! Definitely recommend.
I wish all doctors could be this efficient !
It was really a great experience.
He was fine. No frills or massages. Very to the point.
I have a running injury that no doctor that I've seen has been able to diagnose. Dr. Calabrese spent so much time listening to my history and concerns and worked with me to try to figure out what the root of the injury was. He tried many different things, including muscles that seemed unrelated, until he found that the pain was referred from a different area of the body - something none of my other docs even thought of! I left his office feeling the first bit of progress I've felt in over a month. He was patient and caring. Definitely recommend.
Dr. Calabrese was great. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was quick to explain my ailment and addressed it well. The whole appointment was very pleasant and I will be back soon!
Great visit with Dr. Mike! Really warm and welcoming and listened to my issues and spent a lot of time making sure the treatment was right for me.
Dr. Calabrese was excellent. He was very professional and made sure he deeply understood the problem before treating. He was very polite and thorough with all treatments I recieved from him.
Dr. Calabrese was terrific. He was extremely patient and took time to understand my injury. He made sure I was as comfortable as possible and explained every adjustment and movement he made.
My first visit with Dr Michael was great. He was ready for me the moment I finished my paperwork. The visit started with a thorough intake, followed by an assessment of my trouble spots. He combines Active Release Technique with his adjustments, which made my neck and back easily fall into place.
I was 10 minutes late to my appointment and him and his staff were very patient and accommodating and saw me regardless. Now my back and neck feel great! Recommended.
He is a very knowledgeable caring doctor. As a healthcare professional myself I tend to be very meticulous when it comes to whom I choose for my medical care and this doctor exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him.
The best thing was his immediate availability, and he's nice and straightforward.
Very informative and helpful.
Super Informative and a helped me out tremendously!
He was very gentle on my back. He told me what I needed to do to get some pain relief. He sent me for Xrays. Thank You
Very professional and approachable I feel so much better after my very first visit!!
Felt better after visit. Kinda fast session but definitely know his stuff.
Really nice guy, very professional. Even gave me a referral to another doctor that was more suited for treating me. Honesty and professionalism are very much appreciated.
Found him on Zocdoc, close to my office. Easy check in process. Never waiting for my appointment. Listens to what needs attention and delivers. Doesn’t waste time and is very friendly. Would recommend to anyone in the area that needs adjustments or specific back issues addressed. Hours are very convenient and perfect for getting an adjustment in during a lunch break.
Short treatment, I expected more time with him. Not as friendly as I thought. He is firm and does his job. Not sure if he knows his bedside manners with the way my visit went this time around.
Great experience and very friendly & knowledgeable chiropractor ??
Amazing bedside manner, I feel like a new person.
Thorough and a rare dr not trying to rip me off!
My friend and I went to go see Dr. Calabrese and I've gotta say that he is the most easy going gentleman I've ever encountered. He makes sure you're comfortable and relaxed. Overall, he definitely knows what he's doing :D We're definitely going back again ^__^
Very good consultation! We went over the issues I was having and we discussed the different options to relieve my neck discomfort. I left the office feeling better than when I came in (:
Dr. Calabrese was awesome, my first visit was extremely pleasant. There was virtually no wait time and I got treatment right away for my chronic pain.
Yes Super attentive and kind! Definitely knows what he's doing. Great man!
Quick and easy in and out of the office with great demeanor.
My visits with Dr.Calabrese went very well. He was very attentive, a great listener with exceptional bedside manners and he took the time and diligence to ensure all my concerns were being addressed thoroughly. I had been in excruciating pain and Dr. Calabrese’s treatments/recommendations were spot on, helping me regain my mobility. He really is an honest doctor who advises candidly and is committed to achieving the best results, including a quick recovery for his patients. Without a doubt, he's the only chiro I'll go to from now on. I highly recommend.
Extremely professional and comfortable service from the moment I stepped out of the elevator. Michael is friendly, precise and efficient. Feeling much better since my appointment and will be shifting all my appointments to him.
Dr. Calabrese is a very nice doctor. His alignments were great but the appointment came off a little too casual. I wish he would have asked more questions of me and gone into greater detail into what ways to troubleshoot my issues.
My visit with Dr. Calabrese was very good. There was minimal wait time and he has excellent bedside manners. He listens and communicates well. I felt a vast improvement after my first treatment. Would highly recommend.
I hurt myself while pursuing a hobby of mine, and the whole time he was condescending and insulting towards my hobby. Zero chance I'd go back or recommend him to anyone.
Michael was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable with his experiences in the field. I am a new patient but will surely be returning for another visit.
Dr. Calabrese was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. After one session, my next felt a lot better and my movement was vastly improved. The wait time was extremely short. This was my first trip to a chiropractor and I am very happy with Dr. Calabrese.
I've been going to see chiropractors for years but I can easily say that Dr. Mike is the best. I have a desk job and I travel a lot for work so I get a lot of back pain. He is great at giving adjustments and he has helped my back a lot. I've also had TMJ my whole life but he was able to help me and he gave me some exercises to do at home. He is really knowledgable and has great bedside manner. He doesn't rush me and takes time to listen to my problems and answer my questions. I would highly recommend him and I will be coming back.
The office staff was nice and very accommodating upon my arrival, however, I was unsatisfied with my overall consultation. Michael was super knowledgeable and very friendly, however I was unsatisfied with my overall experience. This was my first time as a patient of Michael's and was in and out of the office in about 10 minutes...needless to say I felt like Michael rushed through my visit. Every chiropractor I've been to in the past has done at least a full 10 minutes of stim & heat treatment, followed by a massage and an adjustment. Michael shut the stim machine off about 5 minutes in and rushed through the adjustment. I mentioned that my father is a physician and my mother is a nurse hoping he'd extend some professional courtesy and maybe take his time and perform a more thorough assessment, but unfortunately that was not the case.
Very nice and helpful.
I've been seeing Dr. Calabrese for various reasons for many years (torn ACL, back problems, stress fracture on elbow...), and I will never even consider seeing a different chiropractor! First of all, I trust him. He isn't one of those chiropractors who makes you come in indefinitely. His goal is to fix the problem so that you DON'T have to come in indefinitely. That's one of the biggest reasons I continue to turn to him whenever I get hurt. He identifies the problem. He explains the problem and options. And then he fixes it. More importantly, he doesn't just give some blanket diagnosis. He is exhaustive in making sure he has covered all the bases. For example, just recently I went in for severe back pain. He kneaded out of the knots, but then he consulted with my PCP (with whom he shares an office), to make sure there weren't any other underlying issues, non-muscle-related. I left the office feeling a lot better after just a 45 minute session. There is little to no wait time (if you make an appointment during work hours, you're not going to have to factor in an extra hour of waiting! If your appt is at 12, you'll be in the exam room by 12:15.) He's incredibly pleasant, considerate, inquisitive, and intelligent. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my physical health. (I originally started going to him because of the proximity to my office in midtown, but now I'm nowhere near midtown and still would never consider seeing a different physician.) I am very happy I found such a diligent chiropractor. New York can be hit or miss when choosing a doctor, so I feel fortunate that I found a "hit."
I've seen this doctor three times and I have already recommended him to a number of my friends. He took care of a couple problems I had, and I experienced an instant long lasting relief. He is very professional and courteous. Ease of scheduling an appointment and zero waiting time are also very important to me.
