Greetings! I'm Dr. Mike Hoffman, a chiropractor born and raised in the sunny city of San Jose, CA. My journey began in the noble profession of firefighting and emergency medical services in Chico, CA. However, a pivotal moment sparked a change of heart, leading me to the realization that I could make a profound impact on people's health through chiropractic care.
Family Tradition:
Chiropractic care has always been a part of my life, thanks to my father, who has been a dedicated chiropractor for over four decades. Witnessing the transformative power of chiropractic treatments, I understood the need for holistic healthcare and decided to follow in my father's footsteps.
Educational Pursuits:
I pursued my academic journey at Chico State, where I earned my B.S. in Exercise Physiology. Eager to deepen my understanding of the body's mechanics and natural healing processes, I furthered my education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, obtaining my doctorate in 2018.
Joining the Family Practice:
Post-graduation, I joined my father's established chiropractic practice, merging tradition with modern healthcare practices. Together, we have been dedicated to serving our community and promoting overall wellness.
Passion for Sports:
My passion for sports has always been a driving force. Recognizing the importance of both chiropractic care and sports in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, I continued my education and became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. This specialization allows me to provide targeted care for athletes and sports enthusiasts, helping them perform at their best.
Personal Life:
Beyond the chiropractic office, I find joy in my roles as a husband to my beautiful wife, Shannon, and a father to two wonderful kids. Our family dynamic is enriched by the constant presence of our beloved golden retriever, Palmer, who faithfully accompanies me to the office every day.
