The office personnel and in-take nurse were friendly and efficient. Dr. Nathan was thorough and objective in his delivery of treatment options. I never felt like he was rushing through the appointment. His opinions and information reflect the depth of his knowledge and experience.
Very much right on felt good about what was done
Fast, courteous and inquiries about issue you're having. Diagnosis and follow up made perfect sense.
I felt that Dr. Nathan was very professional and had an excellent bedside manner. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was telling me. He, also, answered all of the questions I asked him...in detail. I had gone to another ENT doctor, prior to seeing Dr. Nathan, and he did nothing for me. Dr. Nathan gave me hope and a light at the end of the tunnel. The staff were all very nice to me as well, and were very helpful.
He was excellent and very thorough.
I thought the doctor was knowledgable, thorough and pleasant. He took time to explain, which not alot of doctors do these days and the wait wasn't long at all.
Dr. Nathan is a bit mechanical in his bedside manner but he's trying. He never acts like he remembers me, he should put in the chart that I'm a returning patient so he doesn't have to introduce himself every time. It's a bit awkward. But he knows his stuff. He'll definitely try to get you to come back in 2 weeks.
Not a bad wait, though it would have been nice to fill out my insurance, medical history, etc. online rather than while checking in. Good interaction with the doctor and a PA in training. Easily scheduled for allergy testing on date of my choosing. Do be aware that parking at this location is difficult. Use the free valet service even if take a while to get your car at the end.
The visit was good. My doctor was nice and there was no wait time. The office is clean. The one annoying and negative thing was the Receptionists were too loud and chatty which made for a very unprofessional environment.
I thought he was terrific, and hopefully solved my problem.. We won't know for a week or so, but I feel better already.
Powerful and easy-to-move on information.
The entire front office staff and medical assistants were extremely professional in aiding me. Dr. Nathan is a class act. I sense that he TRUELY enjoys his profession and that he strives to solve the problem at hand. I appreciate that and look forward to my follow up! See you soon, Doc!! ????
Dr. Nathan is wonderful. He has two offices areas. Sherwood office took over 30 mins for a wait time. Inova office took 10 mins. Staff is always friendly at both locations.
I can see why other patients gush about their admiration for Dr. Nathan. He is indeed pleasant and respectful. Equally important: so is his staff. I arrived late and out of sorts because of a difficult journey to his office in what I consider to be a remote suburb. They handled both my mood and my lateness good naturedly and put me in a much better frame of mind. The same encomiums apply to Dr. Michael Massa, Nathan's associate in audiology. His explanations while administering a hearing test were easy to understand. I'm deeply suspicious of audiologists because they sell the products they prescribe. But I'd be more inclined to trust Dr. Massa after this visit.
Great service and outstanding support. Dr. Nathan listened my concerns and explained in detail about the recommended actions. Outstanding bedside manner and treatment.
It was good
I truly appreciated the personalized attention I was given at this office. The front desk staff is AMAZING! I watched them deal with a number of individuals while I waited and I was so impressed by their patience and kindness! The wait time was a little overboard. I haven't waited over an hour for any type of Doctor in YEARS (and that's partially why I left my last PCP). Nevertheless Dr. Nathan's bedside manner definitely made up for it. He listened to all my symptoms, acknowledged how I was feeling and then made a plan of how to figure out what was wrong. I was told that Thursday are usually a busy day so if you're going to make an appointment Thursday or Friday is probably not the best day to do it. Despite that though I was still able to get an appointment so I felt very fortunate. I will be going back. hopefully it won't be as busy.
Excellent bedside manner. Very thorough & professional. All staff great.
Dr. Nathan was very easy to talk to! I felt very comfortable and confident with his recommendations.
He was very good. Would definatly refer a friend. Very likeable and knowlegable.
Paperwork was a breeze, since it was taken care of on ZocDoc--just had to sign the form and get my insurance card scanned. I was called back pretty quickly with the nurse, but waited about 35 minutes before a PA came in to see me. Waited about another 10 minutes for the doctor. Wait time was annoying when it's a morning appointment and I had to get off to work. Dr. Nathan seemed nice enough--I only saw him for a couple of minutes--and had kind of an aura of nonchalance (in a good way) that made him seem like he's seen it all. Have to go back for a follow-up, but overall, so far so good, aside from having to wait.
Although we were there for over 2 hours and actually was only with a doctor for ten of the minutes I am still glad we waited for Dr. Nathan. He seems very knowledgable and treated my 8 year old daughter like a real person. He even asked her if she had any questions which I thought was sweet. A lot of doctors just treat her with ever talking to her or ask her anything. I will continue too see Dr. Nathan even if we do have to wait a whole to do so.
Off ice called after I made appointment on-line to connect me to the correct Dr for my appointment. Dr and staff seemed thorough and professional. I need to wait and see if the treatment clears up my problem.
Very impressed. I will be seeing Dr Nathan more and use him as my ENT Doctor
Dr. Nathan was very personable. Asked the right questions and made a quick diagnosis. Gave a sample of meds I would need (so that saved me some $) The staff was friendly and professional.
Liked him a lot. Made you feel very comfortable. He explained everything that he was doing and why he was doing it.
he was fantastic. Waiting 45 minutes to see hime was terrible.
Very professional -Very informed- did what needed to be done, however--doctor and staff are a little "cold" in demeanor-- very busy office -- felt a little like a cattle drive......I'll go back again b/c of my insurance only.
Beside the excessive wait time, I enjoyed meeting Dr. Nathan. He was very attentive and curious about my hearing situation, and was able to answer all of my questions. The associated audiologists visit took no time and was equally as informative.
I felt wonderful. He was very attentive, hoping to find a cause for my problem. Ordered in house tests. Ordered medicine to try before any procedure. And will follow up.
Great ENT MD. I refer to him all of the time for my job and I was very happy with my visit today. He knew exactly what was wrong and gave me options for treatment.
One of the best doctors I have seen in a long time!
He was excellent!
To be honest when I first walked in as a new patient I thought I was going to get bombarded with questions regarding my past hearing tests that I had. None. I had all my past hearing tests in a folder with me. I was asked to sign in and asked me to fill out the insurance information again even though I filled this all out with ZocDoc.com. As for my appointment with Dr. Nathan one-on-one. I explained to him that I was suffering form a mild case of ETD: Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. He informed my its a bit of a myth. Its actual cause by a build up of earwax around one's eardrum. Which he cleaned out with water and a large syringe. Immediately following he asked me to have a hearing test evaluation. Something that was not on my to-do list today. I waited in the sound booth for a half hour till the audiologist showed. She apologized for the long wait and informed my that doctor's office are affiliated. But do not work on the same time schedule. This is true for Dr. Nathan walked in for the results when the test was just getting started. To no one's surprise I failed in flying colors. The only part of the appointment that I felt he was talking down to me was his explanation of the eustachian tube's function. I've ear problems all my life. My 3 children have had ear problems all their lives. I was hoping so where in his explanation he would tell me why it occurs so many times with me. In nutshell as he explained I fall in the faulty 25 percent that have ear problems by nature. Huh.
My wait time was very long (45mins). I was quite disappointed in this - I also ended up with a hearing test that I guess is standard when a patient complains of ear ringing, infection and other sounds - I cannot recommend him at this time, but I'll see how future visits go - and whether I'll continue as his patient.
The doctor was very professional, however the appointment scheduling and waiting period was not. I had an early appointment which was rescheduled to a later time that day, as I was on my way out the door. Then when I got there I had to wait 40 minutes. Thank God the doctor was pleasant and professional, but I would have preferred not missing 2.5 hours of work.
Appeared very relaxed, experienced, and reassuring. No rush.
Very well run office Dr Nathan took the time to explain what I had and the course of follow up that I need
Very good visit. He took the time to answer all of my questions, explain in detail the issues, physical features of my sinues, effects of certain meds, and expectations of courses of actions. Dr. Nathan was very receptive to all of my questions and didn't rush me away.
