Getting to know Michael Kuron

Hello and welcome! My venture into the world of healthcare began during my military service as a Navy Corpsman (medic), where I dedicated four years attached to the US Marines and deployed to Iraq. Following my military service, I was driven by the desire to continue making a positive impact in the field of medicine. I earned my Master’s in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno, which has further equipped me to support individuals facing mental health challenges. I firmly believe that through the integration of the latest evidence-based practices and recent breakthroughs, individuals can not only overcome challenges but also lead fulfilling and purposeful lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer a variety of services to help you manage your mental health. I offer medication management. I am here to give you personalized care right in your community.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first thing we do is figure out what you need. We talk with you about how you’re feeling and what’s on your mind. This helps us understand if there are any mental health issues that we need to address. It’s all about getting to know you better so we can help you effectively. If medication is part of your treatment, we take care of that too. We make sure you get the right medicine and keep an eye on how it’s working for you. Our main goal is to help you feel better with as few side effects as possible.

I’ve been looking for a medical provider for my teenager for the last two years. The pandemic, school and life events greatly impacted their mental health. The doctor was patient with them and they were able to opened up.. He communicated professionally but simple enough for them to understand and he came up with a treatment plan and has been available to answer my questions. Would highly recommend.
Great guy, good listener, thoughtful approach.
