Michael Lagoe moved from Upstate New York to Central Florida with his family in 2001 and completed high school in the area before going to the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and graduated Summa Cum Laude. After completing Human Gross Anatomy at Georgetown University Medical School, he earned his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree at the University of Central Florida and obtained board certification as a nurse practitioner (FNP-C). He then worked for five years at a neurology and physical rehabilitation clinic that specialized in spinal conditions. While he was working, he obtained his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Central Florida. During the last year, he worked at the neurology and physical rehabilitation clinic, which transitioned from neurology to pain management. At that time, Michael sought opportunities to continue working in the field of neurology and he soon, enthusiastically, joined the Neurology One team. While working in the healthcare field, Michael met Bianca and they married in November 2021. He and his wife enjoy going on trips to a variety of destinations and visiting unique sites and attractions. My Pledge To You: I look forward to providing compassionate, high-quality neurological care to all patients. I consistently develop patient-provider relationships that improve the quality of care and patient outcomes. My goal as a healthcare provider at Neurology One is to focus on each patient’s individual needs and to treat everyone as I would treat my own family members.
