In clinical practice, Dr. Lifson offers broad, practical experience in preventive care, chronic disease management, annual wellness visits, same-day sick visits, and minor procedures. His work in immediate-care and urgent-care settings has also given him extensive hands-on experience with laceration repair, fractures, dislocations, burn injuries, imaging-related evaluations, and other common acute concerns. Outside medicine, Dr. Lifson’s energy and character come through in his commitment to running, service, and mental health advocacy. He has a special interest in improving mental health, as evidenced by his cofounding of Ben’s Memorial Mile and his continued leadership of the organization as Vice President and Race Director. An avid runner, he helps lead what has become a major community race, gala, and festival with proceeds supporting mental health research and suicide prevention.
