About Dr. Michael Loshigian
Doctor Loshigian earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with honors, from the state University of New York. He completed the Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine program with high honors, in 1993 from the Wm. M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Returning to New York, he completed his residency in Podiatric medicine and surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, an academic affiliate of Weil Medical College of Cornell University.
In 1997 Dr. Loshigian founded Metropolitan Foot & Ankle Group, a private practice limited to Podiatry & Reconstructive Foot Surgery. Dr. Loshigian is a Clinical Instructor at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC, as well as NY Hospital Queens. A meticulous and innovative surgeon, Dr. Loshigian offers his patients the latest in surgical techniques. His goals are to provide them the fastest possible recovery, a minimum discomfort, and return to normal function. Dr. Loshigian is a board certified foot surgeon. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

I've been a patient here since I had an accident and injured my toe in 2020 and I've always been very happy with both doctors. The overall experience is very good! I've never had to wait more than a few minutes and they always take their time to explain what's going on. Definitely recommend.

The staff was very nice and welcoming I was running behind because I had to find parking and the lot was full and they accommodated me without any issues.
The doctor was very professional and took his time to find the real issue because I was misdiagnosed prior to meeting with him and he fully explain what the actual issue was with my foot and put my mind at ease, he treated the problem right away although there was a needle involved the overall experience was fast and painless.
