About Michael Mance

Greetings, Please make sure to read my entire profile before scheduling. As a psychologist I specialize in working with people who suffer from difficulties with anxiety, depression, relationships, and blocks to creativity. My approach is to listen with empathy and to ask thoughtful questions. During the course of our work together it is likely that we will come to understand how some of your difficulties came to be. In doing so we will identify some more productive ways of handling day-to-day problems. I am a fully licensed clinical psychologist with several post-doctoral certifications. In addition to my private practice I also am a faculty member at both NYU and Pace University. I have held several administrative/clinical positions, serving most recently as the Director of Behavioral Psychology at LETC Child/Adolescent Day Program. Booking an appointment: Once you have selected an available slot, you can expect a confirmation phone call from me before the appointment is confirmed. Please be ready with your insurance information so that we can quickly verify your benefits. *Please note, I currently work with PPO/non-network benefits/out of network benefits. I utilize a private billing company to minimize your personal cost.* *Please also be aware that I have a 48-Business-Hour cancellation policy.* I look forward to meeting with you.
