About Dr. Michael Owitz
Dr. Owitz is a family medicine physician who strives to be a reliable and supportive resource in any situation. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and completed his residency in Family Medicine there in July 2024. During his residency, his patient panel included individuals of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. As a Family Doctor, he enjoys the variety of his work-managing both acute and chronic health conditions and helping coordinate the care and recommendations of specialists.

Had been hoping for a quicker wait time - but needed to wait 30+ minutes for my scheduled appointment, and then even longer after for blood work. Like many doctor offices this one doesn't seem focused on your efficiency and time savings - expect them not to be ready for appointment for when it was booked even if you show up on time.

Friendly and courteous staff, Dr. Owitz has great bedside manner and explains everything well. I left the office knowing I will keep seeing Dr. Owitz for primary care.
I am a new patient. Was looking for a new primary care near me.
The office was easy to find. The building had proper signage to be able to direct me easily to Dr. Owitz office.
I waited only about 10 minutes to be seen.
From the receptionist to the nurse to the techs and to Dr. Owitz, everyone was friendly and seem to care to provide you the best service.
As a new patient and to align with the annual primary care visit, they gathered all my vitals and medical/family history. Standard. When Dr. Owitz came into the room he was very friendly. Dr. Owitz proceeds to explain what primary care will entail on the first visit and continuing on. I did a blood work and urine test with full awareness of why and I did not feel forced. Dr. Owitz answered all of my concerns, even minor, and was very attentive

Overall, I am very happy with my first visit. The staff was very friendly, very professional and showed lots of discretion and respect. The wait time was better than I expected. In less than 25 minutes, the doctor was with me, discretely asking me questions, and patiently listening. He is such a great listener. As a new patient, I felt very comfortable with him, and felt like I could discuss anything with him. The other great thing this practice has is its convenience. All the care I needed was provided on site by Optum: the blood work and all other related tests were administered in there without leaving the building. I would recommend the practice and doctor Michael Owitz to anyone. He is a true professional.

I booked this doctor because it said his wait time was exceptional, I arrived more than 15 minutes early as was requested, I completed all my forms in advance online. Even with all this said, after checking out the receptionist I sat in the waiting room for a full hour before I got up and left. Will never be coming back.
