Getting to know Michael Pascale

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. I originally graduated from Roger Williams University with my bachelor's in psychology. Later, I found my passion in nursing and earned a bachelor's in nursing from Bay State College in Boston, MA. After receiving this degree, I worked full time at McLean Hospital for nearly four years. There, I worked on a short-term inpatient unit assisting in the care and management of a 22-bed unit. At McLean, I cared for patients with a diverse variety of acute psychological presentations, including major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, substance misuse, and more. After earning my master's degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Northeastern University in 2022, I discovered a passion for teaching in addition to caring for my patients. I have since acted as a preceptor through Northeastern University, training nursing students on various units at McLean Hospital. I provide psychopharmacological and diagnostic evaluations, as well as medication management. I enjoy working with patients throughout the lifespan and have developed a particular passion for working with children and adolescents who have various neurodevelopmental, emotional, or behavioral concerns. Due to Georgia regulations, I cannot prescribe stimulants at this time.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, you can expect my full attention and commitment to your care. I collaborate closely with my patients on a wide range of concerns they wish to address. You will have direct access to both my email and work phone number for ongoing support. While I do take vacations, please be assured that I remain available to address any questions, urgent matters, or emergencies during those times.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In each session, we will review your current medications, discuss any developments since our last follow-up, and address any concerns you may have. Additionally, we will explore various psychotherapy topics and discuss strategies, beyond medication, that you can incorporate into your routine to further enhance your mental health and well-being.

The reception is taking the call. She is very rude with individuals calling to rectify a problem. She seems aggravated and is very unhelpful. I can imagine how much money this place has really lost because of her alone.

My first appointment was missed and no one called. I have a clear screenshot and notification of a video call and the girl who answers the phone is very rude and does not want to do her job. She made a mistake and schedule it for in person. I called 6×20 minutes before the appointment and she answered the phone with an attitude I rescheduled and she blamed it on her system and said that it was new. I said fine OK the emails were not sending from a secondary app that she made while I was sitting inside of my Porsche 911 waiting an hour to get started on this appointment and each time I reached out to the receptionist the same girl she has the worst attitude. I’m sure the actual doctor would have been fine but her I can imagine how many patients she has actually scared off.
