About Dr. Michael Schulman
Being in practice for 16 years, I have combined traditional medicine with natural healthcare to develop a new approach to health care without drugs and surgery. I specialize in musculoskeletal conditions such as neck and back pain, as well as extremity issues like knee and shoulder problems. As a sports chiropractor educated at Life University with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, I am knowledgeable about the biomechanics of sports injuries and their treatments. I have extensive training in conditions of the feet, including building custom foot orthotics. As a Functional Medicine practitioner, I have studied how to find the root causes of many health conditions such as thyroid issues, Hashimoto's disease, adrenal dysfunction, autoimmune disease, diabetes, and heart disease. I also treat patients with digestive disorders like Crohn's disease and irritable bowel syndrome. My goal is to get to the root cause of the condition and not just treat the symptoms with medicine. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, sailing, working out, practicing Krav Maga, coaching lacrosse at Mill Creek, cooking, attending church on Sundays, and spending time with my wife and two sons.

I wasn’t seen by the provider listed. I was told one thing over the phone and something different in the office. They tried to push a different treatment plan on me than what I requested multiple times. I didn’t feel heard at all during my appointment. I drove 1 1/2 hours for a specific treatment plan after discussing it on the phone and was told over the phone that they definitely could do what I was looking for and then when I arrived I was told differently. No doctors available at all on Saturday. I spent my entire morning driving 3 hours total for no reason. It was very frustrating having someone try to push the “popular” weight loss injections over and over when being told that wasn’t a program I wanted to do. It’s hard enough taking the step and looking for help so getting this experience is super disappointing.

The Doctor I saw was very detailed and gave me a lot of insight with what my issues were. It was a bit upsetting that there’s a chance that the Physical therapy and Decompression table might not be covered by my insurance. (United Healthcare). I was also concerned with my personal information getting leaked when I submitted my information through their social media page. Shortly after, I was receiving calls from scammers portraying to be employees and asking for personal information. I bought it to their attention when I went for my visit and they didn’t seem to acknowledge or know what was happening.

My experience with Dr. Michael and his staff on my first visit, was amazing. The doctor was able to tell me about the problems I was having in some areas of my body, and solutions he thought would be of great help to me. And his nurse practitioner, she explains every procedure in detail. They will even tell you what and what not your insurance will not cover so you can not be left with unwanted bills out off pocket. Just ask if I am covered under this or that before getting started, they will explain everything to you. Just try them, and you be the judge. Thanks everyone for the part you played during my visit. I went crick-crack and the pain was gone from my back. Dr. Mike definitely helped with the pain and tension I felt in my lower back. Sitting down for extended amounts of time no longer hurt.
