“To start off the ladies at the front desk were very nice, polite and helpful. The nurse took me to the back was very knowledgeable and also very polite. The doctor was very polite knowledgeable and asked me questions.And also allowed me to ask questions and give any information that I thought was necessary, i would highly recommend this doctor's office and Dr. Mike to anyone looking for a doctor.”

About Dr. Michael Sellechio
Dr. Michael Sellechio, or “Dr. Mike,” is a board certified family physician whose goal is to help clients feel empowered to take charge of their health. He values collaboration and conversation with each person he cares for, and he ultimately wants people to make their own decisions about their health issues. Viewing each client as a whole person, he strives to get to the root of any concerns. He has gained a great deal of experience working with complex and chronic medical conditions during his more than 5 years working in hospitals. He also has an interest in geriatric medicine.
Dr. Sellechio prioritizes his own health by making regular doctor appointments and getting to the gym for workouts. He and his wife prepare meals together and monitor their nutrition intake and goals. Once a month, he treats himself to something sweet like a milkshake. Mike gets outdoors to hike and bike when his schedule allows, and when home, he enjoys playing video games.

Dr. Micheal Sellechiotook time to listen to all I had to tell him. Explains everything you that I could understand . He changed one of my medication’s , just with that. I already feel better., of course I would recommend him to anybody looking for a physician. I already recommended him to my brother .

Dr. Sellechio is one of the best primary care doctor's I have ever encountered. The amount of time he spent with me, going over a detailed health history was so refreshing and all too rare in our health system today. He took my concerns seriously, and did not dismiss or minimize them, which has happened to be countless times before. He is genuinely curious and kept asking probing questions to try and get the big picture of what may be going on.

Finding a good PCP in Austin can be challenging. Many doctors I've tried here either take an overly holistic approach (avoiding modern medicine), or quickly go to prescribing medication without exploring other options. I found Dr. Mike Sellechio who was able to see me the next day. He was attentive, easygoing, and truly listened to my concerns. He took the time to identify the root cause of my medical issues rather than offering a quick fix, making me feel valued as a patient.

I went to Dr. Sellechio because I couldn't get an appt with my regular GP. I cannot recommend him enough. Very quick witted, intelligent, and actually LISTENED to everything I had to say, not to mention great sense of humor. His bedside manor made me feel like I was hanging out with a friend. Followed up with plenty of valid questions without dismissing me. He also made a big point of addressing my hormones as a woman to rule out if those were a factor in my issues (this is awesome for a male doctor to take into account). He ordered tests to figure out the root issue instead of offering medication to mask symptoms. And the front staff to the lab staff were equally amazing. Very friendly, organized, and helpful. The phlebotomist that took my blood was the best I've ever had in my life. I was in and out of my appt with added lab work in 45 minutes and with clear discharge and follow up and no pain from the pokes. I'm in love with this clinic!
I will 100% be back.
