About Dr. Michael Shelling
Dr. Shelling was born, raised and educated in South Florida and has returned just minutes from his home to build his practice. It is his special privilege to give back to the community that has already given so much to him, and he is excited to have the opportunity to develop his career in association with Dr. William Roth, an exceptional dermatologist, surgeon and friend.
After graduating Cum Laude from the University of Miami’s Honors Program in Medicine, Dr. Shelling was awarded a Medical Scholars Trustee Scholarship for his high level of achievement and earned his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, graduating at the top of his class.
Dr. Shelling completed his medical training and dermatology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital program, spending a total of four years in one of the largest public hospitals in the country known for its top-notch clinical program. He served as the Chief Resident in his final year and was recognized for his excellence in dermatologic surgery as well as his clinical research on psoriasis and vascular disease.
Dr. Shelling is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality care and will do so with great compassion, respect and integrity. With his conservative, comprehensive approach, he will address all of your dermatological concerns including skin cancers, growths, acne, rosacea, psoriasis many and other common skin conditions. He specializes in managing and treating skin cancers, including standard surgical excisions and Mohs micrographic surgery.
In addition, Dr. Shelling offers multiple minimally-invasive, non-surgical cosmetic procedures including skin peels, Botox, Dysport and fillers (Restylane, Juvederm and Radiesse).

Dr. Michael Shelling was very helpful and took the time to listen to me when I was discussing my past treatment history. Most dermatologists I have been to are very dismissive, but Dr. Shelling was patient and also explained in detail what he thinks my next steps should be. I highly recommend Dr. Shelling and am glad that I found a dermatologist that I can stick with.

Dr. Shelling was fantastic! A very nice and friendly gentleman, I would refer him to anyone. His office was a bit backed up so I had to wait about 50 minutes, but, after seeing him (it was my first visit) I have no complaints.
