This provider gives you time, allows you to be yourself comfortably(if you need to get up/down and move, take a water break, etc), and prioritizes health and safety. This is my first time contacting a mental health professional. I was extremely nervous and terrified that my communication skills would not be adequate to receive the care I need and I will say Dr. Tansingco was EXTREMELY personable, kind, knowledgeable, EXPERIENCED, patient, down to earth and a very handsome(well it's true sorry) Dr at that. I LOVE this platform and I can't believe there is "no catch" to use it for any health issues you have. I ABSOLUTELY think this is a go to app for anyone who does not want to spend hours looking online for the right health professional. I finally after 47 years can get the help I need with no stress. My experience with zocdoc was awesome.. Everything was so easy to set up, love the fact I could sit in the privacy of my own home, plus, I do not drive, so, being able to be seen from my own home was a huge help.. This was my first time seeing a psychiatrist and I must say, Michael was absolutely wonderful, great communication,, not just with the willingness to help, but with the WANTING to help.. He was so patient and understanding and empathetic. I have really struggled with finding a psychiatrist to help me with my ADHD (as well as a plethora of other diagnoses) because I’m pregnant (pregnant people need mental health help too) and I’m on a stimulant and he was the only doctor willing to try to help and consulted with OBGYN’s to make sure we went a safe route rather than telling me “sorry I can’t help you because you’re pregnant it’s too dangerous” like the other 3 doctors I saw prior said. He even took extra time after our appointment to consult with another doctor about the safety of our medication plan and called me in the afternoon on a Saturday. That is unheard of. I am so relieved I found him and am excited to work on my mental health with him in the future and really feel like I’m in good hands. Zocdoc’s recommendation was amazing and the reviews were spot on. I am very happy!!
