About Dr. Michelle Cheng
Dr. Michelle Cheng is a board-certified dermatologist with a passion for providing comprehensive, patient-centered skin care. Originally from the Bay Area, Dr. Cheng earned her undergraduate degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA, where she also attended medical school. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles, followed by a dermatology residency at UCLA.
Dr. Cheng enjoys practicing general and medical dermatology, helping patients better understand their skin and take an active role in their care. She finds it deeply rewarding to build lasting relationships with her patients and to make a visible, positive difference in their lives.
Outside of work, Dr. Cheng enjoys rock climbing, yoga, and baking. Her curiosity and love for both science and creativity inspire her approach to dermatology—combining precision with a personal touch.

Needed a biopsy right away and was able to make a next day appointment. The office is calm and had great music playing for the waiting room. The staff was sweet and courteous. I was taken to my room as soon as I completed my forms. Dr. Cheng is calm, a great listener, very informative and came up with a plan for my case. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Cheng!

I really enjoyed my appointment with Dr. Cheng. You can tell she is extremely knowledgeable. Her bedside manner was very welcoming. She listened and made me feel better about my situation. Highly recommend.

I would recommend Dr. Cheng to any of my family or friends. She has a great bedside manner and made me feel heard and comfortable. She was able to perform a quick biopsy on a small growth on my foot where I experienced zero pain during the procedure and she chatted with me through it to alleviate my stress. Great doctor!
