The hygiene standards in Dr. Chu's office was extremely concerning. To get my blood sample, she placed the blood collection supplies on a tiny surface on the armrest of the chair that I was sitting in; no tray or anything, just on the armrest. Then the needle fell on the floor; she picked it up from the floor and used it anyway. Granted, the needle was still in the cap/cover when it fell, but still. I regret not refusing to use the needle. Never going back.

I appreciated the focused attention she provided, empathetic advice she gave, and great indicators on what changes to notice in my body. I look forward to sticking with her as my GP.

Dr Chu was very helpful and I like her style! She’s very straightforward and gave me an explanation for things I wasn’t sure of.
It’s very safe for COVID since it’s a small office and they don’t allow patients to wait in the lobby for apparent reasons.

Dr. Chu is *everything* I could reasonably want in an internist. She's obviously extremely caring, very careful with covid-19 protocols [at one point I thought, "They're doing everything completely right here—I'd probably be more likely to get covid-19 in my home than in this medical office."] Dr Chu is very obviously highly intelligent as well as commendably trained & experienced.
The office staff were very kind, and that always helps, too.
I had not had a physical/regular check-up, etc., in many years because of years of psychological trauma, & I was so relieved that Dr. Chu was completely nonjudgmental & compassionately understanding—& an uncannily great listener.
Likely, I've never had such a comprehensive physical—and Dr. Chu was directly involved in every single part of it. As well, she was providing supervisory training for a lovely woman who is training to become a licensed nurse practitioner [Dr. Chu asked my permission for the trainee to be involved in my appointment, of course—& I'm not sure that she'll be at Dr. Chu's office—I more had the feeling that Dr. Chu was providing the mandatory training for the future nurse practitioner—& this was also reassuring to me (that Dr. Chu is so comfortable & knowledgeable that she felt well giving back, by training another important medical worker.)]
It seems Dr. Chu has practiced at her current office a long time, and she doesn't seem to be making plans to move away or (certainly not—she's too young) to retire, so I think I've finally found a GREAT internist who will be "mine" for many, many years—& this is an enormous relief to me.
I recommend Dr. Chu very, very highly—I cannot recommend her highly enough, in fact.

Dr. Chu is extremely warm and kind. This is my first visit with her for an annual check-up. The appointment was longer than expected (nearly 1.5 hrs), maybe a combination of Dr. Chu being thorough and also this being my first appointment with her. Overall, would definitely recommend Dr. Chu!

Dr. Chu was very friendly and helpful. The only slight inconvenience was her policy of not prescribing birth control (religious reasons), but her assistant alerted me of this before my visit. She was holistic in her general check-up and didn't make me feel like I was rushed out, as some other doctors do. Definitely recommend!

The office is a little old and could use an update. The location is a little odd and hard to get to because it sits right on Rt 7. The wait time was less than 20 minutes but I can see she was running behind. She really wants to get to know you. Be prepared to spend an hour to so initially.
Dr. Chu is friendly and wants to know about you. She was helpful and listened carefully. She has a great bedside manner and made me feel really comfortable.
Would highly recommend her!

I felt that the office itself appeared a little dilapidated and old, and when I got there no one really told me what to do. However, Dr. Chu is very friendly and very good with how she treats you while examining you!

Dr. Chu is FANTASTIC! My appointment was at 9am and I was called to the back at 9:01am. Dr. Chu and I talked for 45mins before the actual physical exam started. She was extremely attentive and her staff was amazing! Highly recommended!

Dr. Chu and her staff are welcoming and friendly. My past visits with other doctors has been impersonal - as they'd check me in and refer to me by a number or my birthday. Dr. Chu and her staff knew me by name and the visit always is very personalized. Grace Family Practice also offers an online system of checking my test results and a place where I can view my medications. This practice respects your time as they see you very close to the schedule appointment time.

She was very kind and approachable. She did not rush our appointment and felt like she really cared about my health. She listened to my specifics and I got the medicine I needed! An important note was that she doesn't prescribe birth control pills, sleep medication, nor pain medication, which I didn't realize when I booked the appointment.
