I am a nationally board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with almost 20 years of nursing experience. My work focuses on the treatment and medication management of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and bipolar.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have a special interest in trauma, mindful-based therapy, and nutrition for mental health. I have a strong belief in creating an environment for decreasing mental health stigma, empowering individuals to achieve mental wellness, and lead fulfilling lives. Being emotionally health means more than being free from depression, anxiety, and other mental illness. Your mental health affects how you think, feel, act, make choices, and relate to others. I will work with you to create a plan to enjoy life, be more resilient, feel sense, purpose, and be more adaptable to change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I do a thorough medical and mental health history and discuss the reasons you are seeking care. I provide professional, practical, and emotional support throughout your mental health journey. I can assess, diagnose, and treat your psychiatric needs with a holistic approach to care, and understanding the connections between mental and physical health.
