Mihaela Pendos is a Nationally Board-certified Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing and caring for patients for many years. She has licenses in both Family Medicine and Psychiatric-Mental Health. She has experience in treating many different patient populations, but has spent most of her time treating patients with Addiction disorders and Mental Health illnesses.
She has treated many types of mental health disorders, including but not limited to: Schizophrenia, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and Bipolar disorder. She also has experience in treating addiction with medication management like Suboxone, Vivitrol, and Sublocade.
When it comes to treatment, Mihaela is well-versed in medical and therapy-based methods to help those who cannot see their provider in person due to a lack of transportation or other reasons.
She can provide care through virtual visits via computer or phone if needed. She is also an advocate of Long-Acting Injections, which can help patients who struggle with sticking to their medication regimen. Overall, Mihaela is a well-experienced provider who is ready and able to help you achieve your healthcare goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
My process for working with patients is designed to be collaborative, transparent, and tailored to their specific goals.
We start by discussing the patient's needs, goals, and expectations. This helps clarify what success looks like and the scope of the project.
I try to gather relevant information, analyze the context, and propose strategies or approaches that fit my patient's objectives.
I outline the deliverables, timelines, and required resources. At this stage, both sides, the patient and I, confirm what will be delivered and when.
I create or implement the required solution—whether that’s sending the appropriate meds, designing, analyzing, handling data, or developing a strategy. Throughout this stage, I maintain open communication to ensure that the patient and I are on the same page.
The patient and I will review deliverables, provide feedback, and make necessary adjustments to ensure everything meets the patient's expectations.
Once the visit is finalized, I will deliver the completed work and will offer ongoing support and updates if needed.

When I was looking for a new doctor to fill the medication i was already on, I wasn’t looking for anything specific in which doctor I was going to choose, however Ms. pendos immediately stood out to me for whatever reason, i just had a good feeling about her and thats why I chose her. Im glad i did because my instinct was right. The appointment went better than i ever expected, and she made it feel more personal and comfortable by the questions she asked and how genuinely she seemed to care. I haven't found a doctor I've felt this comfortable with since the provider i was seeing for over 2 years was no longer able to fill my prescription due to new laws instated within her practice, which left no choice but to find another. Even the ones ive seen after, that were in the same practice ive been with for so long, didnt feel as thorough, caring and genuine as she has during my first appointment and i look forward to seeing her again this month. I highly recommend booking with her!

This is huge because as an African American young woman, I am not often heard by providers and pushed off.
