Even though it was stated that the doctor is "In Network" and my insurance was in the list, after the appointment I found out that the doctor is out of the network.

Absolutely horrible I informed them of the medications I was taking prior to my visit and was told that they could prescribe them then I get there and they cannot prescribe for those medications after paying for the visit in an hour-long session

This was my first time seeing a psychiatrist and Dr. Sarpong (Mildred) was amazing. I am already ready to recommend her to others. She made me feel heard and never rushed me and showed that she was listening. She was extremely personable and offered options for treatment. I felt like I’ve been going to her for a while. She has found her niche in this field.
Separate review aside from my doctor: The actual practice did call me quite a few times. I don’t like phone calls. However, I rather frequent communication than none at all. I prefer online communications or text message options. I don’t always have the energy to talk on the phone. Lastly, I had an issue with page 20/20 of virtual online forms. Maybe if they can separate the forms by category (ie medical history from HIPPA forms), this will make it easier for both parties. This caused me to fill forms out again in person. No big deal. I also like the fact that I was able to be seen on such short notice.
