My typical process for working with clients is to conduct comprehensive evaluations to establish an accurate diagnosis and Plan treatment, that incorporates safe and effective use of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy in a caring environment.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PROVIDER!!! THE WORST DOCTORS EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
she made me wait 15 minutes for a 15 minute conversation.
then she started by asking what my name was and how old I was???
She didn’t even bother to look up my appointment prior to it starting. She told me my anxiety and depression (worrying all of the time, not being able to sleep, lacking interest in my preferred activities, not being able to function in my day to day life) was “normal” and “not really a concern”. She told me that my anxiety would go away if I ate more and she told me that my eating disorder was something I should be able to “get over without medication”. She blamed my stress on my job (which I told her was the least stressful thing in my life). She was incredibly invalidating and honestly made everything so much worse.

When explaining my situation with my job and advising that I love my job but the car ride is an extreme challenge for me, I was met with: why don’t you just get a new job? And when I said I love my job and worked hard to get it, she advised: well why don’t you just move closer? In response I explained my kid is in school and I can’t just up and leave the district like that. I was crying at this point and she was very dismissive and non-empathetic. She was condescending and unapproachable. I explained to her that this was very hard for me to even make the appointment but I’m trying to get some kind of help and left the call feeling worse than I did before. I will not be scheduling any kind of follow up with her. I cried for hours after.
