I am Dr. Mina Devine, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC, a licensed, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I hold a Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Rush University and a Bachelor's degree from Xavier University. With years of experience, I provide effective, individualized outpatient psychiatric care. I treat a range of mental health disorders in clients from as young as 5 years old to 75 years old.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am a clinician that strives to provide care with honesty and compassion. I will actively listen to your needs and be honest with you about the ways I can help. I welcome full transparency from my clients. I really want to know how you are feeling and how treatment is working for you.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I believe in teamwork when it comes to your care. Your input about your body and your care is important. We will work together to treat the root of the issues. An evidenced base treatment plan will be put together, with your long term health as a priority. It is my goal that my clients leave their session with a sense of relief that the work is being done to improve their mental health. I want you to leave the session feeling like your concerns were heard.

I can't say enough good things about this experience! Today was my first experience with Zocdoc, with Dr.Devine and mental healthcare at all, I was nervous and uncomfortable but she made me feel heard in a way I have never felt. She was literally so nice, I’ve had different experiences with other mental health professionals and while none of them were bad none of them were as good as this. Dr. Devine sat and listened to everything I had to say and responded not only professionally but sympathetically to any problems I was experiencing. She didn’t try to minimize my issues, quite the opposite she actually made me feel better and made me feel understood about what was going on and made sure that I felt comfortable during the appointment and with what happened after the appointment regarding my prescription. She was professional but also super personable, which I really appreciated as sometimes providers do not engage with you personally and make the office feel cold and uninviting. I honestly wish I had found her sooner and look forward to my next appointment.
