Had a virtual visit at 11:30 a.m. The physician was polite and asked the right questions, but it’s now 5:30 p.m. and my prescription still hasn’t been sent to the pharmacy. I called 2 -3 times and was repeatedly told “it will be ready by end of day/ soon,” but nothing was done. Good bedside manner during the visit, poor follow-through afterward. That is absolutely unacceptable! If that is the norm it should be explicitly communicated.
